Pu\u00f2 sembrare sorprendente, ma il respiro ha un ruolo chiave nella regolazione del pH sanguigno e dell\u2019equilibrio acido-base. E non stiamo parlando solo in senso simbolico o energetico: la scienza supporta questa connessione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pr%C4%81%E1%B9%87%C4%81y%C4%81ma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">pranayama<\/a>, ovvero l\u2019arte yogica del controllo del respiro, non \u00e8 solo un insieme di tecniche spirituali antiche. \u00c8 anche uno strumento potente per regolare funzioni fisiologiche fondamentali, tra cui \u2013 appunto \u2013 l\u2019equilibrio del pH. Ma andiamo con ordine, capiamo prima cosa intendiamo per pH e acido-base, poi vediamo come il respiro diventa protagonista in questa storia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">pH: A Matter of Balance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il pH misura quanto una sostanza \u00e8 acida o basica. Il nostro sangue, per funzionare al meglio, deve mantenersi in un range molto stretto: tra 7,35 e 7,45. Al di sotto di questo intervallo si parla di acidosi, al di sopra di alcalosi. Entrambe le condizioni possono compromettere seriamente la salute, anche se i cambiamenti sono minimi. Ovviamente il corpo \u00e8 intelligente, e tende sempre a riportare tutto in equilibrio. Ma conoscere questi meccanismi ci permette di usare il pranayama con maggiore consapevolezza, soprattutto se si hanno condizioni metaboliche particolari o si segue un percorso di riequilibrio corporeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Listen to Your Breath, Listen to Your Body<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Non serve essere yogi esperti o conoscere ogni dettaglio biochimico. Bastano consapevolezza e costanza. Il respiro \u00e8 uno strumento che abbiamo sempre con noi, ed \u00e8 gratuito.
